John Brockenbrough

A graduate of the University of Virginia, John began his copywriting career in Richmond, where his work earned him national recognition and a one-way ticket to New York. Over the next 12 years, he worked for a number of notable agencies on international and national brands as diverse as Chase, Citibank Visa, Mercedes-Benz, Diet Coke and Perdue. As Senior Vice President/Creative Director for Leo Burnett in Chicago, he created TV campaigns for Game Boy Advance and Game Cube, the two biggest launches in Nintendo’s history at that point.
cSs Tales: After Burnett, John became Executive Creative Director at Mullen in North Carolina, where his clients included Sealy, TJ Maxx, CSX, Marshalls, La Quinta hotels and Wachovia.
