For more than 20 years, The Richmond Forum has been hosting a wide range of speakers, presenting and discussing topics of global importance. From science to religion and from entertainment to politics, The Richmond Forum seeks to expand horizons, stimulate conversation and inspire the community.
We were challenged with rebranding an identity that was inconsistent and dated. Our goal was to define The Richmond Forum’s new look in the fresh and progressive way and to illustrate the power of ideas.
The revised logomark evokes a community dialogue that begins with its line-up of international speakers. The different sizes, tones and directions of the quotation marks reflect the diverse points of view expressed at The Richmond Forum. Curved arrows and dot patterns, elements from an existing video opening, were used to tie all pieces together and further illustrate the conversations and actions that develop from the sharing of ideas.
A clean and consistent branding system that connects the local stage to world speakers and global vision.
