1. Discovery

Founded in 1972, The Steward School is an independent K–12 school committed to the kind of education that recognizes the individuality of each child and fosters his or her potential through an exceptionally high degree of personal attention. One-on-one education, shared classroom and extracurricular experiences are of equal importance. There was a need to communicate this difference and create a consistent brand voice as well as update a tired and confusing logo.

2. Strategy

Focus on the individualism of students and the importance of a one-on-one education.

3. Execution

An updated and simplified version of the shield logo was designed as a focal point for refreshing the school brand. A new color palette was created using a more vibrant blue and introducing a golden yellow for a welcoming attitude. Glowing photographs of motivated students juxtaposed against intriguing illustrations of global topics suggest an exciting and relevant learning environment. With budgets in mind, the view book cover was engineered with an “at-a-glance” insert that also served as a direct mail piece.

4. Evaluation

This new campaign generated glowing reports both internally and from prospective parents.
